Four Americans lost their lives in Libya this past September when the U.S. consulate was attacked. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty, and Tyrone S. Woods all bled and died at the hands of extremist Muslims that night, and they deserve for the American government to give them and their families answers. That’s not what’s happening at all though Instead, they have had their deaths ignored, belittled, and dare I say, covered up by the Obama administration and the liberal media.
It’s obvious that for an attack to be that successful one of two things had to happen. The first possible thing that could have happened was that security was majorly lacking in Benghazi (it’s pretty obvious this is the case). This is a shame since the U.S. ambassador and other U.S. workers should be the first to be protected, but the Obama administration may have not had the money to send more security over there since they needed it for their health care plan and stimulus packages. It’s a very likely possibility, and it shows just how bad the Obama administration has mismanaged their priorities. I hate to tell you my liberal friends out there, but that’s what Al Gore would call an inconvenient truth.
The second thing that could have happened that night was that the attack could have been organized. While Obama and the liberal media have been sticking by the story that the attack was random, more and more evidence to the contrary is coming out. Just this week, a report came out that said Al-Quaida members were involved in the Benghazi attacks Coincidence? I think not. The attack was obviously orchestrated before hand, and I don’t understand why liberals have such a hard time owning up to that piece of truth about what happened that fateful September night.
Currently, a panel is looking into the events of Benghazi, but they are slow moving for sure. The American people and the families of those who lost loved ones don’t have time for these political games though. We need to know what happened. I’m not saying this because it will prove one political agenda correct and disprove another, but I am saying it because we need to know what happened so we can prevent the incident from happening again. When the lives of American are on the line, it is necessary to get this information in the most timely and efficient manner, and, by getting answers ASAP, we can do this.
So let’s try to get our politicians to give us answers. In D.C., the hearing on Benghazi are stalled, and we need to let those who run the hearing know that this is unacceptable. Political games should not be played when it comes to American heroes who have lost their lives, and if politicians won’t stand up for our heroes, we should. That’s the only way we are going to get answers on Benghazi and heal some of the wounds left behind from that horrific tragedy.
May God Bless America,
